Denpasar, August 30, 2024 — Amid the unceasing busyness of the legal world, Paralegals.id once again took a pause. This time, not to review contracts or draft legal strategies, but to give something very simple yet meaningful: a single drop of life.
Held in Denpasar City, the Paralegals.id team took part in a blood donation event organized by the Keluarga Karyawan Notaris Mandiri (Karisma) Denpasar. Within the simplicity of the venue and atmosphere, lay a deep meaning of care, togetherness, and the intention to keep life flowing—both literally and spiritually.
For Paralegals.id, blood donation is not just a medical routine. It is a practice of the Pawongan value within the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—maintaining harmony with fellow human beings. Just law is law that lives with its community, and one way to truly live together is to share, even from within our own bodies.
This event became more than just a blood donation for the two founders of Paralegals.id, Suka Antarayasa and Yuda Swastika. Both began their careers as notary staff in Denpasar, and the Karisma community was an important part of their journey—where they grew, learned, and forged their path toward the legal profession.
Reuniting with familiar faces—fellow colleagues who once worked silently behind stacks of deeds and legalizations—brought a sense of emotion and gratitude. But the meeting was not merely about nostalgia. It became a moment to do good together.
“We came not only to meet, but also to give. Because whatever our profession is today, the call to help one another remains the same,” said Suka, after completing the donation process.
The spirit of making this activity part of Paralegals.id’s culture also came from Endra Setiawan, co-founder who has supported the firm’s social vision from the start. Endra hopes that blood donation will not stop as a seasonal agenda, but grow into a living habit within the work environment.
“Activities like this may feel simple, but their impact is very real. We don’t need to start with a big program to care. What matters is repetition and sincerity,” said Endra, as he warmly chatted with participants from various backgrounds.
Interestingly, another partner of Paralegals.id, Andika Setiawan, has made blood donation his personal routine for several years. He shared that beyond helping others, this activity makes him feel refreshed and healthier.
“Every time I donate blood, I actually feel healthier. But more than that, I feel meaningful. This is a small way to help without needing the spotlight,” said Andika, emphasizing that kindness doesn’t need to wait for big moments.
Through this activity, Paralegals.id reaffirms that law which truly serves is not only the one that wins in court, but also the one that carries empathy toward social realities. The firm doesn’t just want to be known as professionally strong, but also socially compassionate.
Every drop of blood donated that day was a manifestation of the most fundamental value in human relationships: care. Behind offices and robes, these legal professionals want to remain whole human beings—not only speaking of justice, but also practicing it, in the quietest and purest form.
This blood donation event with Karisma is not a beginning, nor will it be an end. For Paralegals.id, it is part of an effort to build a healthy work ecosystem—not only operationally, but also emotionally and spiritually.
Because giving is the most genuine form of presence. And when the law exists not only in files, but also in the pulse of humanity, that is when justice becomes closer, more real, and warmer.
